Seasonal order

The full collection, ordered in February or September against a linesheet with every cloth, mill and edition size on it. Six-week lead time from confirmation.

Permanent line only

The four pieces that never change, reorderable all year with no seasonal commitment. The safest way for a shop to start with us.

03 Direct Retail price

Made to order

Any permanent-line piece cut to order in your size, direct from the studio. Everything is made after you order it, which is why it takes a while.

04 Direct €60, credited

Fitting and adjustment

A sitting in the Bonfim studio to adjust a pattern to you: sleeve length, rise, shoulder. The adjusted block is kept and reused for anything you order after.

90 minutes · By appointment

05 Service Free, then at cost

Repair and remake

Restitch, patch, reline, or cut a worn piece down into something else. Free for the first two years and charged at cost after that, whoever bought it.

Press and sampling

Loans for editorial and a sample set for buyers who want to see the cloth before committing. Both go out on a two-week loan with a returns label.

How an order runs

From linesheet to the shop floor

Roughly eleven weeks from the first email to a rail in your shop. The six weeks in the middle are people sewing.

01 Same week

Linesheet

You get the full linesheet: every piece, every cloth, the mill, the edition size and both prices. No login, no portal, a PDF.

02 2 wks

Samples

A sample set goes out on loan with a returns label so your buyer can handle the cloth. Nobody should order linen off a screen.

03 1 wk

Order

Confirm the mix and the sizes. We tell you at this point which editions are close to running out, so you are not surprised in June.

04 6 wks

Cut and make

Cut here, made here, by the four people on the atelier page. You get a photograph of the lay if you want one, and several buyers do.

05 3 days

Ship

Ex-works Porto, folded in unbleached tissue with a material card in every box. No polybags at any point in the chain.

06 Forever

After

Repairs come to us, not to you. Send a customer's garment back and it returns fixed, which is cheaper for everyone than a return.
