The only dyed piece in the permanent line, and the only colour on this website. It goes into the vat six times with an hour of air between each dip, which is what gives it the depth you cannot get from a single long soak.
Because the vat is alive and I am not a chemist, no two smocks come out the same. The one you order will be within about half a shade of the photograph and that is the best promise I can make.
It loses a little colour in the first three washes and then holds for years. Wash it alone the first time. People forget, and then they own a blue towel.
